Supplier Quality Engineer
Bothell WA12 Months ContractRole OverviewJoin the Global Supplier Quality team supporting the Oral Healthcare business. This role focuses on supplier qualification, quality planning, process validation, and supplier performance improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess technical capabilities of new suppliers and support supplier selection.Conduct/review DFMAT, SRPQP, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PV&V, FAI, LRA, and SICR activities.Develop and manage APQP plans for New Product Introduction (NPI).Define and maintain supplier quality requirements and project documentation.Collaborate with R&D and suppliers on Design for Excellence (DfX) initiatives.Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ), Critical to Safety (CtS), and special process requirements are maintained.Coordinate Part Submission Warrant (PSW) deliverables, line releases, and approvals.Drive supplier improvement and development initiatives to meet production quality requirements.Support Approved Supplier List (ASL) changes and supplier qualification activities.Monitor supplier performance, analyze supplier-related defects, and independently review Supplier Corrective Action Requests.RequirementsBachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Engineering Science, or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Design/Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related areas.Ability to travel up to 30% to supplier sites and work across different time zones.Preferred Qualifications & Skills3 5 years of relevant professional experience.LEAN Six Sigma certification preferred.Supplier Quality & Supplier Audit ManagementSupplier Evaluation & Quality ManagementAPQP, CAPA, PFMEA, SPC & MSADfX, PV&V & First Article InspectionSupply Chain ManagementData Analysis & Continuous ImprovementDocumentation, Reporting & Regulatory Requirements
