This role offers the opportunity to work directly with business owners and individuals on a variety of tax matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporationsAssist with tax planning and tax-efficient strategies to minimize client liabilitiesEnsure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulationsSupport preparation and review of financial statements and related schedulesMaintain organized tax documentation and assist with audit supportResearch tax issues and analyze new tax legislation for client applicabilityCoordinate with clients and internal team members to gather financial information and resolve tax-related mattersAssist with estimated tax payments, withholding calculations, and other compliance filingsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and quality serviceCollaborate with management on client engagements and workflow prioritiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA or EA designation preferredExperience in public accounting with exposure to private clients preferredStrong understanding of federal and state tax complianceProficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication, organizational, and analytical skillsAbility to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environmentValid driver’s license requiredMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningPreferred Experience3+ years of QuickBooks experienceExperience preparing partnership and corporate tax returnsFamiliarity with multi-state tax filings and complianceBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageFull overtime payMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCareer advancement and professional development opportunitiesSupportive and team-oriented work environment
