Our mission is to make fandom discovery fun, engaging, and accessible for every enthusiast.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Founding Designer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in New York, NY. The designer will be responsible for creating and refining the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the platform, ensuring it is visually striking, highly intuitive, and user-centered. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, crafting wireframes and prototypes, and iterating designs based on user feedback. The Founding Designer will help refine the visual identity of Lore and play a key role in shaping the overall design direction.QualificationsExpertise in UI and UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and crafting seamless user journeysStrong visual design and branding skills, with the ability to establish and maintain a cohesive design system and style guideExperience in using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar softwareAbility to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing teamsA strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-focused design projectsPassion for storytelling, fandom, or cultural content is a strong plusBachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related fields, or equivalent experienceStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment
