Multi-State People Operations Manager
A company is looking for a People Operations Manager to lead the operational backbone of their People function.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws
Manage multi-state tax registrations and HRIS platform, driving system improvements and reporting
Directly manage a team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement while partnering with leadership on operational strategy
Required Qualifications
6+ years of HR operations or payroll/benefits experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
Experience managing multi-state payroll and employment compliance, preferably in 20+ states
Deep knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, benefits regulations, and employment tax requirements
Hands-on HRIS experience, with a strong preference for familiarity with Rippling
Proven track record of building or improving people operations infrastructure in a high-growth organization
