Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
· High School Diploma required, secondary education encouraged.
· Pharmacy Technician certification encouraged, not required for interview, but is required for job sustainability.
· Experience with computers, typing and Windows based functions.
· Experience with Microsoft Office programs and ability to operate these programs
Demonstration of effective problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal and team work skills.
Demonstration of positive customer service.
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
· Superior Customer service skills, both with answering the phone and in pharmacy.
· Superior communication skills with patients and doctors’ offices and other medical professionals

· Ability and motivation to keep continuing education hours annually for certifications.
Experience with managing inventory
Experience and ability to manage multiple patient regimens and workflows.
Working with the pharmacist to identify patients and opportunities for clinical services and billings.
· The duties of the pharmacy technician include, but are not limited to the following when the pharmacist deems it necessary: The filling and refilling of prescription medication under the direct supervision of the pharmacist; The input of information into the computer of all prescription, and patient data; All duties allowed a pharmacy technician under current state pharmacy law; And, any other duties needed or requested by the pharmacist for the normal everyday operation of the pharmacy which are permitted a pharmacy technician under existing state law. Pharmacy technicians are active in organizing patient medication sync cycles and the packaging in filling of medications. Technicians also take an active role in creating and completing care goals.
· Applicant must have a clean criminal record and be very trustworthy.
