VECRA is seeking a Full-Time Program Manager Senior VECRA, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager Senior to support the management of the United States Coast Guard’s (USCG) current operations by delivering products that facilitate the development of operational strategies. The USCG is tasked with many responsibilities to safeguard the United States citizens and protect its interests domestically and abroad. VECRA’s extensive experience with innovative software applications, reporting systems, facilities and supply chain management, program management and staffing support services are always: V*igilant * Efficient * Collaborative * Responsive * A*ccurate Job Description The Program Manager Senior will oversee the development and execution of programs and is accountable for the quality and timely delivery of contractual items under the contract terms and conditions. They ensure senior-level management within the client organization knows the overall program status, including all relevant projects and their potential impact on higher-level organizational strategic vision. A Program Manager Senior typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a program and performs all functional duties independently. ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES · Oversee the development and execution of programs and be accountable for the quality and timely delivery of contractual items under the contract terms and conditions. · Support the management of current operations by delivering products that facilitate the development of operational strategies. · Initiate, plan, execute, and close projects performed. · Manage contract execution day to day on a single project, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations. · Establish and maintain technical and financial reports demonstrating project progress. · Assist with organizing, facilitating, or participating in conferences, forums, symposia, events, and meetings. · Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. · Serve as point of contact with the client. · Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIRED SKILLS: · Experience should fall in five or more of the following USCG’s eleven core missions: o Search and Rescue (SAR) o Counter Drug (CD) o Alien Migrant Interdiction Operations (AMIO) o Ports, Waterways, and Coastal Security (PWCS) o Aids to Navigation (AToN) o Living Marine Resources (LMR) o Marine Safety (MS) o Defense Readiness Operations (Def Ops) o Marine Environmental Protection (MEP) o Ice Operations (Ice Ops) o Other Law Enforcement (OLE) · At least four years of experience as a primary IMS scheduler for major projects and Microsoft Project Expertise using IMS functionality. · Experience in acquisition process and strategic document management. · Documented experience performing integrated master scheduling (IMS) on multi-mission dollar acquisition efforts. · Project Management certification desired.
