Position Summary:Syncx is looking for a skilled Systems Developer to develop, enhance and improve an industry leading technology platform in which clients, agencies and internal Syncx members can meet and exceed market expectations. Working with key Syncx Stakeholders through ongoing collaboration, maintain the growth and health of the Syncx Technology Suite. This is a fully remote position with the requirement to be visible on camera during team meetings.Scope of Job:Develop and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce Platform, including Apex Classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web ComponentsDesign and implement data structure, flows, processes, and declarative set-upWork with previously developed LWC and Apex components improve and upgrade systems to meet ongoing industry progressionPrepare and manage deployments using IDE-based deployment tools, CI/CD workflows, Ant scripts, and Change SetsConsult with key stakeholders at Syncx to review process and technical requirements for all technology design and configurationLead end-to-end technical delivery in solving errors, new developments and enhancements, application design and configurationProvide thorough testing prior to resolving errors, releasing change orders, or new development to the Syncx Product Manager for final testingProvide thorough checks prior to deploymentsLead and release all deployments providing support to internal Syncx stakeholders and Syncx Product Manager through final production testingProvide and continuously manage Code Documentation for all Syncx Technology productsFollow and complete all SOW’s and where needed, provide guidance to internal Syncx stakeholders on the life cycle of projectsCollaborate and work closely with Syncx Product Manager on errors and the Syncx internal ticket systemCollaborate and work closely with external development partners as neededDevelop, implement and maintain connectivity through integrations and APIs using the Salesforce platformProactively identify opportunities to improve system functionality and performanceQualifications & Experience: 12+ years of technical experience within the Salesforce ecosystem10+ years of hands-on experience writing Apex controllers, unit tests, and triggers10+ years of demonstrable familiarity with user interface development principles and experience with modern / ES6 JavaScript, HTML and CSS is a plus8+ years’ experience working on complex projects and the ability to creatively build solutions and work with and around Salesforce restrictions8+ years of experience working with Apex REST services and API integrations8+ years of experience delivering Portals/Communities/Storefronts on Community/Experience Cloud or B2B Commerce is preferred8+ years’ experience with version control systems, preferably Git7+ years of experience working on an Agile-based cross-functional project team7+ years of knowledge and experience in Full-Stack development and database conceptProficiency in working with both UI development and JavaScript/Apex programming at a high level and familiarity with object-oriented programmingExcellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse internal and external team membersPreferred Experience:Experience in artificial intelligence, including the development and implementation of machine learning models and AI-driven solutionsExperience working with QuickBooks/Accounting APIsUnderstanding of data architecture and best practices for data managementKnowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
