Technical Documentation Support Specialist

Title: Technical Documentation Support SpecialistLocation: Greensboro, North CarolinaBoth Full-Time & ContractJob Description & Skill Requirement:Technical documentation:Maintain Site's technical documentation SharePoint repository.Site Admin for check in and check out of drawings, process safety studies, project documents.Monitor, facilitate, and maintain Tech Doc related software/programs.Manage Equipment/Panel number data and assign numbers for site equipmentEnsure tech doc capability and tools are adequate for the site.Interface with site project managers to ensure necessary technical documentation is turned in and stored appropriately by the end of the project.Provide Site graphic/ plotting support.Provide drawings to the site on an as needed basis.Be able to run the drawing plotter/laminator to provide site support as needed for presentations.Communicate with inside and outside Engineering vendors for drawing check-in & check-outs and the site drawing control process.Support Spider account setup for site resourcesSpider tickets submission, follow ups and closure with service now team when there are issues with Spider.FLC Mapping for new FLC locationsSite projects documents uploads.Site machine / equipment manuals upload for projects support.Vendor drawings uploads (from initial Spider transition. A few vendor drawings need to be manually uploaded to Spider)Demonstrates Ability to Manage and Author Documents and Drawings In SpiderManage/create/update any DSOPs necessary to document the tech doc system processes.Create & maintain the inventory for printing and lamination service.Site Drawing Updates:SPOC for any on-site drawing updatesMaintain the Site master plan Drawing Up to date.Maintain the Site Drain master plan Drawing Up to date.3D model pilot uploads on Project wise. Plan is to upload intelligent latest versions in future.Site engineering support for layout updates for projects. Engineering drafting (small updates) support for projectsMeetingsParticipate in regular meetings with the BU Global Tech Doc community Interface with other pillars in Plant to promote Tech Doc integration with other pillar activities as necessary.Spider Teamcenter user connects (weekly) for Spider release and version updates.Spider health check connects (Monthly) for providing site updates and next steps.Spider tech doc Admin connects for other site learning, Spider queries and best practices sharing.TrainingProvide AWC(SPiDER) training for employees how to access Tech Doc system Every Month.Obtain any vendor training necessary to maintain drawing skills proficiency.Updating spider consumer training document with newer features and version releaseUpdating spider author training document as neededSpider admin and consumer access audits for IT securityAutoCAD: Proficiency in updating master plans and site drawings.Teamcenter: Functional understanding of PLM systems and centralized data management.3D Software: Fundamental knowledge, specifically regarding the conversion of files to DWG format.Industry Experience: A professional background in the FMCG sector is preferred.
