Opportunity: RN - Med SurgJob Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with every other weekend requirement • On-call only if flexed off shift • No floating requirements between units • Maintain 6:1 nurse to patient ratio • BLS certification required • RN license in state of employment or compact state required • 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • Provide routine and complex patient care utilizing the nursing process • Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers • Practice independently with awareness of all relevant clinical aspectsFacility: This healthcare center is part of a larger health system that emphasizes comprehensive patient care and professional development.
