Job DescriptionVeterinary Internal Medicine Specialist- Poulsbo, WashingtonAnimal Emergency and Specialty Center located in beautiful Poulsbo, Washington, is recruiting for a second internist.We are seeking a second internal medicine specialist to join our collaborative, progressive, and growing team. You will be joining an internal medicine service that was started in 2024 by our current internist, who is experienced and has previously worked in a five-internist specialty practice. She is excited to welcome another DACVIM to continue to grow the practice, share knowledge and cases, and offer expanded internal medicine services to our committed and very grateful clientele. Supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, advanced imaging, and a dedicated team of technicians and colleagues, you can make this position your own. Because this is a fairly new service, your input and ideas will be welcomed and pursued.We have an excellent referral base and are the only specialty and emergency hospital that operates 24/7 on the Olympic Peninsula of beautiful Washington state. The internal medicine service works closely with the emergency and surgery services and manages both inpatients and outpatients. Plans for a critical care service and in-house blood bank are in the works.Our culture promotes respect, kindness, and team collaboration with the goal of having our staff come to work feeling good about what they do and who they work with daily.
