This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and UX teams within a fast-paced Agile environment.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, develop, and support cloud-native applications using AWS, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and serverless technologiesBuild scalable front-end and back-end solutions utilizing modern development practicesSupport API development, cloud modernization initiatives, and application migration effortsDefine infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologiesMaintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processesParticipate in product planning and full lifecycle feature ownershipCollaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to improve performance and user experienceMUST HAVE:5+ years of Full Stack software development experienceStrong experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, and API developmentStrong AWS serverless experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, EventBridge, SQS)Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code experienceCI/CD and DevOps experience (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, deployment pipelines)Docker/containerization experienceExperience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectureExperience with Agile methodologies and toolsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesMust currently reside in the Chicago areaAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps)Snowflake experience or certificationRedshift or DB2 experienceDimensional modeling experienceECS/Fargate experienceServerless Framework experienceExperience with DynamoDBKnowledge of event-driven and service-oriented architectureProven technical leadership and mentoring experienceExperience leading cloud migration initiativesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in Agile environmentsMust currently reside in the Chicago areaVIDEO DISCUSSION REQUIREMENT:At the time of submission, vendors must also:Send a calendar invite for a video discussion including the candidate and recruiterCoordinate directly with the candidate prior to submission to confirm availabilityAny time works — accommodations will be made around the candidate’s scheduleSubmissions sent without a scheduled video discussion invite will not be reviewedCOMPLIANCE NOTICE:This is a highly compliant client environment.
