Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java)Location: Hybrid – Irving, TX (401 Las Colinas Blvd W, Bldg B-112847) – 3 days/week onsiteInterview Mode: In-person (client office)Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 9-12 years of experience in software development to join a team of 5, focused on building and delivering new microservices. This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to work from the client's Irving, TX office at least 3 days a week, with an in-person interview required.Key Responsibilities:Lead engineering efforts independently — owning design, development, and end-to-end delivery of new microservicesDesign and build Java/J2EE-based applications using Spring BootDevelop and maintain event-driven systems using KafkaCollaborate within an Agile (Scrum/Jira) environmentDrive CI/CD practices using modern DevOps toolingRequired Skills & Experience:10–12 years of experience in software developmentStrong proficiency in Java 17 with hands-on Spring Boot-based microservices developmentSolid experience in Java (8+), JUnit, J2EE, and Web Services (SOAP & REST)Hands-on experience with Kafka (mandatory)Experience with Kubernetes; exposure to React.js is a plusProficient in CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy / HarnessStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Jira) – mandatorySelf-driven, highly motivated, and comfortable taking ownership with minimal supervisionContinuous learner, actively exploring new technologies and modern architecture trendsTop 3 Must-Haves:Hands-on experience designing and delivering Java/J2EE applications using Spring BootCloud experience (preferred)Knowledge of Kafka (mandatory)
