Here, you will receive endless support and appreciation while building a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.As an Inventory Coordinator, you will act as a liaison between the department and Supply Chain Management to ensure that inventory levels reflect the departments needs and are managed by established policies and procedures. This opportunity provides plenty of learning experiences as well as the ability to grow within Cleveland Clinic.A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 7:30AM 4:00PM.Covering other sites in the South Submarket will be required, as needed.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Maintain inventory integrity.Resolve shipping and receiving issues directly with the vendor or carriers.Monitor, report and resolve discrepancies.Provide technical set up and maintenance of automated ordering systems.Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve any automated ordering system issues.Proactively monitor the system to prevent ordering issues.Verify accuracy of receipts and orders filled.Participate in consignment audits.Adjust par levels based upon usage within the ERP system.Provide technical set up and maintenance of automated ordering system.Develop and implement new systems or manage changes of existing systems when necessary.Respond to recalls as directed by the FDA or other agencies.Assure that the facility meets regulatory requirements in the handling of biohazardous waste.Coordinate backorder process to supply inventory.Notify users of back orders and work to identify alternate products.Prepare broken or returned equipment for shipment and maintain documentation of returns.Manage consignment inventory items.Rotate stock within defined areas and perform routine expiration management to meet KPIs.Receive storeroom stock items from shipping and receiving area, unpack and inspect items for damage, verify accuracy of shipment and input information in the warehouse management system.Possibly, handle returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication.Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate floors and health care facilities.Monitor the flow of traffic into dock areas, prioritizing deliveries ensuring the safe receipt of goods and supplies.Verify accuracy of shipments, check for damage to goods and document variances of orders.Prepare goods and supplies for distribution, prioritize deliveries, and sort and label loads ensuring the safe, correct and timely delivery of orders.Stock picking locations using warehouse management system.Perform regular cycle counts and physical counts of stock for inventory control verification.Survey, fill and stock Nursing floors and clinical areas to maintain inventory levels.Complete six months of on-the-job training to learn specialized surgery components, inventory systems and departmental policies and procedures.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:High School Diploma or GEDValid Drivers License (VDL) and meet all of Cleveland Clinic insurance requirementsTwo years of experience in inventory control functions with responsibility for par levels, purchasing functions, inventory analysis and usage trends OR an Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related fieldPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Experience in healthcare supply chain functionsComputer systems experience that includes bar code readers, handheld computers and printersApple product computer experiencePhysical Requirements:Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting items that weigh up to 50 pounds.Requires the ability to push a fully loaded cart weighing up to 800 pounds and pull a 2500-pound pallet using a manual pallet jack.Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.Lifts and carries.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and work irregular hours.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeSalaries [which may be] shown on independent job search websites reflect various market averages and do not represent information obtained directly from The Cleveland Clinic.
