Let's talk.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Prepare site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and drainage systems for a variety of utility, land development, public works, and transportation projects. Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions. Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met in collaboration with project managers. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and local agencies to ensure project requirements are met. Review and interpret survey reports, maps, and as-built drawings. Assist in the preparation of technical reports and cost estimates. Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.Minimum Qualifications 0-2 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program EIT Certification or ability to sit for the exam within 12 months of hire Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present data using spreadsheets, formulas, and basic functions Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills**Preferred Qualifications**Experience on natural gas projects, including pipeline systems, and distribution networksExperience on utility projects, including utility layout and design and preparation of plans and specifications for constructionDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervisionQuick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processesReceptive to training and feedback, with a strong willingness to continuously improve
