About The Role:A globally recognized, design-led architecture and interiors studio is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its New York team. You will take ownership of projects from early concept through construction, guiding both the creative vision and the detailed execution.The ideal candidate brings a balance of design sensibility and technical expertise, with the confidence to lead client presentations, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile, design-forward projects within a dynamic studio environment that values creativity, precision, and innovation.The position offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible hybrid working structure, along with the opportunity to grow within an internationally respected and creatively ambitious team.Key Responsibilities:Lead hospitality and experiential interior projects across all phases, from concept design through construction administrationDevelop and communicate strong design narratives through presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualizationsOversee space planning, ensuring functionality, flow, and alignment with the overall design conceptProduce and guide the development of detailed drawing packages, including plans, elevations, RCPs, and custom design elementsCollaborate closely with project architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project deliveryServe as a primary point of contact for clients, leading presentations and maintaining clear, professional communicationReview shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs to ensure design intent is upheld throughout constructionSpecify materials, finishes, and FF&E in line with the project vision and brand identityCoordinate with vendors, fabricators, and contractors to support execution and installationManage project timelines, deliverables, and internal team coordinationMentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing studio cultureKey Skills / Requirements:Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field10+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on hospitality design requiredProven ability to lead projects through all phases, from concept through construction administrationStrong design sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into fully realized environmentsAdvanced knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork, FF&E, and OS&EExperience producing and coordinating comprehensive construction documentation packagesProficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Rhino and Revit preferredStrong understanding of specifications and documentation processesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client-facing situationsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor team membersTo apply for this position please click on the apply button to attach your resume (and portfolio for design positions).By applying for this role, you are confirming that you agree to our Privacy Policy (full details are shown at the bottom of our website), and that all details submitted by you are correct and to the best of your knowledge.The Crowd is an equal opportunities employer and agency.
