POSITION: Director of Student Engagement & EnrollmentCATEGORY: Full-time (12-month employee)FLSA STATUS: ExemptSALARY: $50,000 - 70,000Saint Martin de Porres High School is seeking a dynamic, energetic and self-driven Director of Student Engagement & Enrollment to be part of an innovative college-prep and career readiness high school experience.OUR ORGANIZATION Saint Martin de Porres High School is part of the Cristo Rey Network of Catholic schools designed exclusively for students of modest means. Our competitive edge is our Corporate Work study program, which allows students to gain real world work experience while receiving a college preparatory education. Eighty percent of our students will be the first in their extended families to go to college. Our rigorous curriculum, which includes students working in a corporate environment, was designed specifically for our school by a committee of prestigious educational leaders. Our mission of College and Career Readiness is centered around five pillars: Work, Study, Serve, Lead, and Pray.Position SummaryThe Director of Student Engagement & Enrollment will enhance the out-of-classroom high school experience by fostering campus community, student engagement, and young adult personal development. Key responsibilities include organizing campus events, advising student organizations, managing departmental budgets, and assisting with student orientation and leadership training. The Director of Student Engagement & Enrollment role will also support strategic recruitment, registration, and long-term retention of students by building deep, supportive partnerships with students and families. The Director of Student Engagement & Enrollment will help drive enrollment growth through outreach while fostering a welcoming environment of belonging to encourage student involvement and boost student retention. This dual-focus position bridges the gap between administrative operations (student enrollment) and community-building (student engagement) to ensure institutional growth and student success. This role reports directly to the Chief Enrollment & Engagement Officer.Key Metrics: Success is primarily measured by retention rates, student involvement and leadership in campus activities, positive school culture, and student satisfaction surveys.Core Engagement ResponsibilitiesStudent Leadership: Manages and oversees student leadership roles including small group and convocation through training, accountability, and weekly planning meetings.Student Orientation: Create, plan and oversee the implementation of the 2 week long Lion Pride Institute Orientation and Overnight experience for incoming studentsStudent Life: Manages and oversee student life activitiesStudent Engagement: Plan and implement co-curricular activities, events, and programs to foster a positive campus culture and student experience.Student Retention & Success: Oversee/Facilitate new student onboarding; coordinate efforts to support student success, including orientation, and connecting students with transition/support services to enhance engagement.Family Partnership & Outreach: Develops programs to welcome and support families, ensuring they are integrated into the school community. This includes hosting parent workshops, orientation sessions, and town halls.School-Wide Activities and Community Engagement: Facilitates/supports all-school activities including special events and programsData Analysis: Utilizes surveys, focus groups, and enrollment trends to assess program effectiveness and predict future needs.Inclusion & Belonging: Ensures recruitment and engagement strategies proactively reach underrepresented or diverse populations to foster an inclusive environment.Operations & Analysis: Supervise staff, manage budgets, and use data to evaluate the effectiveness of enrollment and engagement initiatives.Oversee Lions Den Spirit Store including working with the Marketing Department for new designs, managing budget and student employees.Core Enrollment ResponsibilitiesEnrollment Support: Participate in the full student lifecycle from initial outreach and recruitment to formal registration and annual re-enrollment. Collaborate w/Finance Team to ensure scholarships are processed, and with Corporate Work Study Team for student work permit paperwork. Manage campus visits and enrollment appointments.Support Enrollment Strategy: Develop and execute recruitment plans, including community outreach, high school partnerships, and managing the enrollment pipeline from prospect to applicant.Relationship Management: Promote school brand, build partnerships with internal stakeholders (faculty, administration) and external community members (feeder schools, churches, student/family centered organizations).
