They lead with integrity and transparency, while offering innovative solutions and excellent customer-focused experience.Job OverviewOur client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Low Voltage Foreman to lead and oversee field operations for commercial low voltage projects. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networking, along with proven leadership experience managing crews in the field.The Senior Foreman is responsible for executing projects safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications, while coordinating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Location: Newark, NJSchedule: Full-time – In-person (Flexibility required to meet project demands, including occasional overtime and off-hours work)Salary: $40-$50 (DOE)Benefits: Competitive hourly pay and benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k), PTO and paid holidays, Supportive and team-oriented culture, Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization.ResponsibilitiesField Leadership & ExecutionLead, supervise, and mentor field technicians and installers on job sitesExecute installations of low voltage systems, ensuring adherence to design and specificationsDelegate tasks effectively and ensure productivity and quality standards are metProject CoordinationCollaborate effectively to ensure alignment on schedules, scope, and deliverablesCoordinate daily field activities, manpower, and material needsProvide regular updates on project progress, timelines and solutions for challengesTechnical ExpertiseInstall, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, cabling infrastructure, AV, and networkingInterpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsEnsure installations meet industry standards and client requirementsQuality & SafetyEnforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on all job sitesConduct site safety checks and ensure proper use of tools and equipmentMaintain high-quality workmanship and ensure installations pass inspectionsDocumentation & ReportingTrack daily work logs, material usage, and field reportsAssist with as-built documentation and project closeout requirementsIdentify and communicate change orders or scope deviationsQualifications:Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in the Low Voltage industryProven experience leading crews on commercial job sites as a Foreman or Lead TechnicianTechnical KnowledgeStrong expertise in low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networkingProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and riser diagramsLeadership SkillsAbility to lead, motivate, and manage field teams effectivelyStrong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced environmentsCommunication SkillsClear communication with project managers, clients, and team membersAbility to provide accurate field updates and reportsSoft SkillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing job site conditionsStrong work ethic and commitment to quality and safetyCompensationThe published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today's market.
