Job Title: Maintenance Technician IIILocation: Plymouth, IN 46563Duration: 6+ MonthsPay Rate: $30.52/hr (W2)Shift: Start on 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), transitioning to 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) around JulyJob SummaryThe Maintenance Technician will support operations at a food service packaging facility by performing routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Top 3 RequirementsStrong electrical troubleshooting skills (schematics, prints, circuits)Advanced problem-solving ability (root cause identification vs. part replacement)Experience with complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in production environmentsKey ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety standards and proceduresPerform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on plant equipmentDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issuesMaintain and repair gearboxes, conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systemsRead and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsInstall and troubleshoot wiring, transformers, and control systemsConduct preventative maintenance (lubrication, wear checks, alignment, etc.)Maintain clean and organized work areasOperate equipment such as forklifts and hoists when requiredCollaborate with team members and contractors to complete tasks efficientlyRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or technical school educationMinimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read tape measures (up to 1/16”), perform basic math, and use computersAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditionsFamiliarity with safety standards (Lockout/Tagout, HAZMAT, forklift safety, etc.)Self-motivated with strong time management and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience troubleshooting motors and industrial electrical systemsKnowledge of NFPA 70E standardsExperience with preventative maintenance programs
