Sr AI Engineer

Location: Onsite - San Francisco, CA / Dallas, TX / Austin, TXWe are looking for a strong Software Engineer with hands-on experience leveraging GenAI and agentic development tools to enhance the software development lifecycle.This role focuses on building high-quality applications while using AI as a force multiplier across coding, testing, debugging, documentation and modernization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test and maintain software applicationsLeverage GenAI tools for coding, testing, debugging and documentationCreate effective prompts and workflows for AI agentsReview and validate AI-generated code for quality, security and performanceGenerate and improve test coverage (unit, integration, regression)Refactor and modernize legacy systems using AI-assisted approachesParticipate in architecture, design discussions and code reviewsDrive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practicesRequired SkillsStrong programming in one or more: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C# Solid computer science and software engineering fundamentalsExperience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD and testing frameworksHands-on experience with GenAI coding tools Ability to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputsStrong focus on secure, scalable and maintainable codePreferred SkillsExperience with agentic AI tools Legacy system modernization experienceCloud-native developmentExperience in regulated environments (Finance, Healthcare, etc.)Experience measuring productivity improvements using AI
