Medical Assistant, Primary Care & Aesthetics

Job Description We are an internal medicine primary care physician office and medspa in search of a compassionate full-time Medical Assistant interested in helping people!Ideal Medical Assistant candidates are punctual, dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, and can communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians. We require a self-motivated “people” person with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.Responsibilities:Handle clinical/administrative duties in a timely mannerPerform routine clinical tasks to support medical staffCustomer service (face-to-face and over the phone)Some front office duties (including insurance verification, answering phones, making appointments)Insurance referrals and authorizationsPrepping for upcoming appointmentsPreparing exam rooms and fitting with suppliesProcedure skills (including vital signs, blood draws, injections, EKG, spirometry, bladder scan, breathing treatments)Document visit with the patient into the EMRSend orders and prescriptionsTraining in all areas of the clinic to cover as needed​Qualifications:Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fieldseClinicalWorks experience preferredPrimary care experience preferredStrong organizational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment​Hours: Full-time, Mon-Thurs 7:50 am - 5:30 pm and Fri 7:50 am - 12:30 pmCompany DescriptionPrimary care physician's office (also providing concierge services) and MedspaCompany DescriptionPrimary care physician's office (also providing concierge services) and Medspa
