The work focuses on standard, scalable machine learning approaches rather than highly complex modeling.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and deploy sales forecasting models using Azure DatabricksAnalyze historical sales data to generate actionable insightsDevelop daily and weekly forecasts at product and store levelExecute Proof of Concepts (POCs) for forecasting use casesWork with CPG datasets (different from retail models)Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration and deliveryEnsure model performance, accuracy, and scalabilityRequired SkillsStrong experience with Azure DatabricksProficiency in Python for data science and MLExperience in time-series forecasting models (ARIMA, regression, etc.)Hands-on experience with data processing and analyticsUnderstanding of CPG domain (preferred, not mandatory)Ability to build standard/vanilla ML models efficientlyNice to HaveExperience working with large-scale data platforms on AzureExposure to retail or supply chain analyticsExperience in client-facing or onsite roles
