Maintenance and Repair Worker

PIRATE COVE WATERFRONT RESORT – MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT PIRATE COVE RESORT is a multi-faceted, 800+ acre, five-star Resort and RV Park. The Resort is located on the Colorado River between Laughlin, Nevada and Lake Havasu, Arizona. The Resort is now hiring Skilled Professionals for its Maintenance Department. Position responsibilities and requirements: · Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools such as hammers, paint brushes, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. · Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that equipment continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate. · Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary. · Assemble, install or repair wiring of electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery or equipment and other duties as needed. · Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. · Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. · Building and Construction – Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or other structures such as underground utilities and roads. · Public Safety and Security – Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property and institutions. · Must be able to safely use basic tools, ladders and PPE’s. · Must be willing and able to work on minor electrical and plumbing repairs. · Must be able to safely lift 50+ LBS. · Clean driver’s license.
