Information Technology --> Software Development/EngineeringWPAFB, OHID: 1282-383Full-Time/RegularWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer IV to support advanced engineering and scientific initiatives in a dynamic government-focused environment. This role involves leading the design, development, and enhancement of complex systems and tools while providing technical leadership, analysis, and strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with extensive technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience working closely with government stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Lead the design, specification, and development of systems and tools for new and existing programs Develop enhancements, modifications, and corrections to complex systems and applicationsExercise independent judgment and creativity to solve highly complex technical problemsConduct in-depth studies and analyses, including developing methodologies, identifying key parameters, and validating resultsMaintain broad knowledge of engineering principles, computer programming languages, techniques, and industry best practicesCollaborate closely with government customers and stakeholdersPrepare and present technical reports, proposals, briefings, papers, and related documentationProvide technical guidance and training to team membersLead projects and direct the work of technical staff as neededStrong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience leading technical teams and projectsThis position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in Engineering, Science, or MathematicsMinimum of 10 years of relevant experienceTS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
