Career opportunities may be available to full-time employees. Objectives:To be an integral part of our retail sales team by demonstrating excellent customer service in our Lawn and Garden department. Our ideal candidate takes pleasure in solving problems, is able to work under pressure, sell to customers and enjoys being part of a team. Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:Greeting customersBe able to assist customers with garden questions and guide them towards the right product(s)Maintaining an excellent sales floor and outdoor live goods areaBe able to care for and merchandise live plantsBe crossed trained to fill in at other departmentsAll employees are expected to be flexible and to do "whatever it takes" to help other co-workers and the company succeedQualifications:Qualified candidates will have a high school education/GED and 1+ years of retail sales experience or the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training. Specific product knowledge and sales experience is preferred, but not necessary. A varied schedule will include day and evening shifts.
