Elementary Reading & Math Tutor

Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Reading & Math Tutor. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching experiencein a school and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one reading and/or math instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Utilize evidence-based techniques to develop personalized learning plans for each student. Assess students' reading and math abilities and create tailored lesson plans to address their specific needs and challenges. Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment to enhance students' confidence and motivation. Track and report on students' Quarterly Progress Reports, adjusting instructional strategies as needed. Communicate regularly with parents and teachers to provide feedback on students' performance and progress. Stay current on best practices in instruction and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field is required. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school is required Strong knowledge of various reading assessments and diagnostic tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent tutoring schedule.
