The company specializes in large-scale wastewater and civil infrastructure - major pumping stations, water pollution control facilities, and municipal piping systems across the five boroughs - with additional work in commercial plumbing, heating, and fire protection. They work directly for NYC agencies like the DEP, large general contractors, and state and federal clients.The company is growing fast and needs to scale its preconstruction operation to match. This role is designed for someone who is hungry, technical, and coachable - a detail-oriented self-starter who wants to learn the estimating craft from the ground up. You will work directly with senior estimators on takeoffs, vendor quotes, and bid assembly across a wide range of project types, with a clear path toward full estimating ownership over time.What You'll DoPerform quantity takeoffs for piping, valves, equipment, and supportsOrganize and maintain drawings, specifications, and addendaSolicit and track vendor and subcontractor quotesLevel quotes and identify scope gapsAssist in bid assembly including scope sheets, clarifications, and pricing tabsMaintain organized estimating files in company systemsSupport clean scope turnover to operations at job awardWhat You Bring0-3 years of construction or estimating exposureProficiency in Bluebeam or similar takeoff software, or a strong willingness to learnAbility to read construction drawings and specifications; MEP experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and a process-driven mindsetHigh urgency and a deadline-driven work ethicCoachable, low ego, and genuinely eager to develop the craftWhat You'll GainCompetitive salary of $75,000 - $115,000401(k) with profit sharingHands-on mentorship from experienced estimatorsA clear path to Estimator I, II, and Senior EstimatorA company with real growth momentum and expanding bid volumeAt Framework, we keep it simple: we connect great people with great builders.
