ENT Surgery Medical Billing Specialist on eCW

We're a swiftly growing billing service in Los Angeles, CA looking to hire a Medical Billing Specialist. The perfect candidate will have experience with another billing service and a focus in private practice. Our clients are practicing PT, ENT, Internal Medicine, Surgery, ophthalmology and more. You will primarily work on eClinical Works (eCW) on a large Ear, Nose and Throat surgery practice. You must be highly skilled, resourceful and self-motivated. This is not an entry level and the expectation is that you will be able to hit the ground running with minimal training. This job has a management component, supervising and maintaining quality control overseeing incoming billing assistants or interns. This is a remote position so you must be comfortable working from home. Your daily workflow will include reviewing the coding and charges , answering patient phone-calls and maintaining quality control for work performed by our off-shore team. You must be a strong coder, an expert biller in private practice (not hospital) and very proficient in Otolayrngology coding. The right candidate will have strong communication, time management and organizational skills. You will need to multi-task with the best of them! Phone and email correspondence is a large percentage of the job. Job experience should include: Excellent coding skills to review staff work and optimize client revenue All RCM functions on multi-specialty accounts including but not limited to; demographic entry, insurance verification, charge entry, payment entry, statements and account auditing Organize google documents and spreadsheets Be a SUPER USER on eClinical Works on all areas of RCM. No training will be provided and you'll need to train others on the platform. Do not apply if you don't have this experience.
