Apply via Dice today!We are seeking an experienced Piping Project Manager with specialized expertise in hygienic and regulated piping systems within the pharmaceutical industry. This role will oversee large-scale piping projects from contractor selection through completion, ensuring strict adherence to scope, budget, quality, and safety standards within an EPCM delivery framework. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar piping scopes, leading 12+ contractors across multiple groups, and partnering directly with construction teams in regulated environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead contractor selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and interface management within an EPCM structure.Manage project budgets exceeding $5M+, ensuring cost control, forecasting accuracy, and financial accountability.Oversee 12+ contractors and multiple contracting groups, driving alignment on schedules, deliverables, and quality benchmarks.Partner directly with construction teams to monitor field progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical standards (cGMP, ASME BPE, FDA guidelines).Serve as the primary liaison between EPCM contractors, internal engineering stakeholders, controls, and scheduling teams.Participate in strategic planning around modularization, skid packaging, and construction sequencing.Implement proactive risk mitigation and remediation plans to resolve delays, quality deviations, or scope changes.Maintain full visibility of construction progress through regular site walks, milestone tracking, and executive reporting.Required Qualifications (MUST HAVES)6 8 years of project management experience specifically in regulated/hygienic piping within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry.Demonstrated experience managing piping projects with $5M+ budgets.Proven ability to manage 12+ contractors and multiple contracting groups simultaneously.Strong working knowledge of EPCM project delivery models and cross-contractor interfaces.Hands-on experience working directly with construction teams to monitor progress, quality, and safety in active build environments.Willingness to relocate to Lebanon, IN (if not local) and commit to the onsite schedule (3x/week initially 5x/week starting Aug 2026).Preferred QualificationsPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.Formal training/certification in ASME BPE, ISPE guidelines, or cGMP compliance.Experience with modular construction, prefabrication, and skid packaging strategies.OSHA 30 or equivalent construction safety certification.Proficiency with project management & scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD/Navisworks review).
