Some landscaping/grounds work may be required.Responsibilities:Ensure receipt and completion of revenue and general Maintenance Requests (MRs) as required by Guest Services and employeesIdentify and ensure that all materials and tools are available at job site for required repair/maintenance workInspect and ensure that all MRs are completed as plannedEnsure that repairs and inspections of the pool (if applicable) and surrounding grounds are completed in a timely mannerEnsure that the daily designated work plan is completed and reported to the GMEnsure that all identified departmental reports are completed as scheduled for review by the GM and Director of Maintenance OperationsEnsure that the General Manager is apprised, on a daily basis, of the status of all ongoing projectsTasks may include painting, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, masonry, concrete, heating (if applicable) , welding, roofing and other related jobsAssist on assigned maintenance and mechanical duties for buildings and associated facilities, furnishings and equipmentCapable of independent “hands on repairs” in all maintenance disciplinesEfficiently and in a timely manner, manage parts inventory for general stockComply with safety policies and procedures including when lifting, climbing, etc.Ensure polite, knowledgeable and timely customer service when responding to visitor inquiriesOther duties as requestedPosition Requirements:Basic to Intermediate computer skill level to include Word and ExcelDemonstrate skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment common to maintenance and repairMust be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms or catwalks, crawl spaces, tunnels, ledges and roofsUnderstand and effectively follow oral and written instructionsStrong, professional, people skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts and my be asked to be on call 24/7 in the case of an emergencyAbility to lift and carry 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionallyMust have a valid driver license to operate vehicles throughout propertyEducation and Experience:Education: High school Diploma or equivalent preferredTechnical/trade school diploma or equivalent trainingExperience: 2 years general maintenance and/or construction
