Associate Principal, Security Business Operations - Security Project ManagerLOCATION: Coppell, TX (preferred) but also open to CHICAGO, ILHybrid 3 days onsiteThis is a security project manager role. Someone who has education in security like CISSP, CISM, etc.PMP, Scrum Master, would be requiredFinancial knowledge would be huge.They do not have to come up technical, they are driving vision, strategy, roadmapThere is 5 people in the groupThey use Oracle Apptio, a tracking system so that would be a plus but any tracking system would be goodYou will be managing a security budget of 1MM. This is including vendor selection technology, procurement, resource, allocation across security. History of vendor managementYour ImpactLead security product vision, strategy and roadmap developmentDrive cross-functional collaboration across security teamsCommunicating metrics and insights to senior managementTransform security challenges into innovative solutionsQualifications:Experience managing comprehensive security program budgets ($1M+), including vendor selection, technology procurement, and resource allocation across security functions while demonstrating ROIDemonstrated experience implementing business analytics platforms to drive security decision-making, with proven ability to develop custom visualization dashboards.Successfully led department-wide initiatives with demonstrable improvement in security metrics and on-time delivery.Certified Scrum Master with experience leading security product development teams using agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups while maintaining security compliance requirementsTechnical Skills:Data Visualization & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel modeling for security metricsAgile Methodologies: Scrum, SAFe, Kanban with specific application to security product developmentBusiness Analytics: SQL, Python for data analysis, security ROI modeling, risk quantificationEducation and/or Experience:Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification requiredSecurity certification required (CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent)Experience in IT or security rolesDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional security implementation initiatives (e.g., identity management, endpoint security, cloud security)Proven track record managing security projects through full lifecycle while maintaining compliance with relevant frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)Experience translating security requirements into project deliverables and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholdersHistory of successful vendor management and third-party security integration projectsExperience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) specifically applied to security initiativesKnowledge of security governance, risk management, and compliance processesFamiliarity with security tools and technologies across multiple domains (network, cloud, application security)Experience developing and tracking security metrics and KPIsJ-18808-Ljbffr
