Responsibilities
Increasing level of financial planning and investment knowledge through practice and advancing responsibility of planning teams and Wealth Advisors
Completes financial plans, investment reports, tax and estate analysis as requested
Vast majority of time is spent preparing for and in client meetings documenting task items and coordinating client service execution under the Associate Wealth Advisors and/or Wealth Advisor
Data and information gathering
Brings forth observations to Lead Advisors regarding clients
Limited oversight on simple projects and plans
Observing and learning complex planning
Attends networking events and begins to build relationships in the community and with COI peers
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic level knowledge of financial planning, investment, and client relationship skills
Technology: Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Planning Software
Experience with custodian interaction
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
High standards of professionalism and confidentiality
Bachelor's degree in related field and working towards obtaining CFP credentials
Typically 0-3 years’ experience
Competencies
Financial planning and investment principles, including processes and procedures
Technology: Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Planning & Investment Software
Proficiency with back‑office process and custodians

Pay Information: This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of California or Utah depending on final position location. The pay range for this position is $65,800 - $106,000.00 USD per year. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
May require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Position requires working onsite 4 days per week.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions may be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill.
Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non‑Disclosure Agreement, which require post‑employment obligations relating to non‑solicitation, confidentiality, and non‑disclosure.
