We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Rockford area that is looking to bring on a CMM Programmer to support their quality team. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for stability and growth.This role is fully onsite in Rockford, IL (61101) and offers the chance to work hands-on with inspection equipment in a production-driven environment.What You'll Be DoingProgram and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMISPerform dimensional inspections and verify product qualityInterpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirementsCollaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issuesSupport continuous improvement efforts within inspection processesWhat We're Looking ForExperience with CMM programming (PC-DMIS required)Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skillsBackground in a manufacturing environmentExperience with ROMER arm laser scanning is a plusCompensation & Benefits$35–$40/hr (based on experience)Long-term contract opportunityFull benefits through Sterling Engineering, including:PTO & paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) + ESOP
