Job Title: Healthcare Document Control Coordinator (Remote) Location: Remote (EST Hours) Pay Rate: $18/hour Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (some flexibility) Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Document Control Coordinator to support documentation review and compliance processes for a leading global medical technology company. This role is responsible for ensuring patient records meet clinical and billing standards while maintaining accuracy across multiple systems. This is a great opportunity for candidates with healthcare experience who are highly organized and comfortable working with medical documentation in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities: Organize and prioritize active and completed patient files for order processing and billing audits Review patient records to ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards Audit chart notes across multiple internal systems for accuracy and completeness Process customer returns in accordance with department policies and procedures Complete special project chart approvals as assigned by leadership Support audit requests and ensure documentation aligns with billing requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in the medical field or call center/customer service environment Working knowledge of medical terminology Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Experience: Experience working directly with medical documentation (not solely insurance-based roles) Familiarity with reviewing clinical records for accuracy and compliance Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Job ID: 168212 Keywords: healthcare, medical documentation, medical records, document control, chart review, compliance, billing audit, remote healthcare, medical terminology, patient records, data accuracy, quality review, healthcare administration
