Job Details: Specialty: Ophthalmology Candidate Type: MD, DO Visa Accepted: No J-1 or H-1B Salary Range: Not Specified Loan Repayment: Not Specified Employment Type: Locum Tenens Description: We are currently seeking a BC Ophthalmologist residing in North Carolina to provide call coverage for our team. The provider will be required to come in the day before scheduled for orientation. Details: Evaluation: Evaluate all hospital and ED consults, including evaluation and surgical treatment of trauma cases. Care Setting: Provide inpatient and outpatient care only. Call Coverage: 24-hour call coverage required. Location Requirement: Provider must be within 20 minutes of ECU Health Medical Center while on call. EPIC Training: EPIC training preferred. Patient Volume: Anticipated volumes per day: 5-8, with an average of 5-6 patients per provider. Code Response: Provider will not respond to codes. ICU/Critical Care Duties: No ICU/Critical Care duties.
