Chief of Staff, Execution & Operations (CEO Office)
Job Title: Chief of Staff, Execution & Operations (CEO Office)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Position Overview:
DirectOne is seeking a Chief of Staff, Execution & Operations to serve as a force multiplier for the CEO by translating priorities into execution, driving follow-through across the organization, and ensuring critical initiatives move forward with clarity and accountability.
This role is designed for an execution-oriented operator who thrives in ambiguity, can balance strategic context with hands-on delivery, and is comfortable operating as an extension of the CEO’s priorities. The Chief of Staff (CoS) will own the coordination and execution of cross-functional initiatives, support decision-making through preparation and synthesis, and represent the CEO’s intent across teams. Executive support is also a core part of this role, integrated into a broader mandate focused on execution, judgment, and ownership of outcomes.
This is a programmatic Chief of Staff role, not a strategic advisory position. Success is measured by outcomes, momentum, and leverage.

Order, track, and maintain office supplies.
Cross-Functional Initiative Ownership
Own execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives where ownership is unclear or distributed.
Create structure around ambiguous workstreams and bring clarity to next steps.
Track progress, unblock issues, and ensure initiatives stay aligned with intended outcomes.
Operate comfortably in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve.
Client Support & Account Development
Collaborate closely with internal client service, operations, and production partners to support day-to-day execution.
Assist with campaign planning, mail plans, and creative coordination.
Contribute to campaign performance discussions by helping analyze results, identify trends, and surface opportunities for improvement.
Support initiatives to enhance client engagement, response rates, and overall campaign effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to add value to the client through expanded services or optimizations, supporting retention and long-term growth.
Gradually assume ownership of defined client deliverables, timelines, and coordination as the role develops.
