We specialize in the repair, overhaul, and replacement of parts for high-speed rotating equipment such as steam and gas turbines, compressors, expanders, and other industrial rotating equipment found primarily in the Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Petrochemical, Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Fertilizer and Power Generation markets.Position SummaryProvide inspection support to the quality control departmentResponsibilitiesInspecting new parts with a wide range of metrology equipment (Micrometers, CMM, ATOS blue light scanning, ect.)Operating quality control hardware and software programs.Evaluating inspection results per manufacturing/repair drawings.Returning rejected parts to appropriate shop members.Providing feedback to improve department processes.Support the drafting department with instructions as needed.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Have exposure to precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.)Have been exposed to, or willing to learn digital equipment like CMMMake logical decisions and provide inspection feedback to the machinistsBe proactive and solution orientedBe familiar with CAD and component drawingsBe familiar with GDT per ASME Y14.5M-2009.Have clear communication, both written and oral.Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.What we offer youWhat We Offer 12 Paid Holidays 15-20 Paid Time off (PTO) Days Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability 401k with 6% company match Employee Assistance Program Employee Wellness Program Bonus Programs. 15% BOT.
