About the job QA Tester with SOA Level 3Note: Only Local with NO OPT and CPTJob Title: QA Tester with SOALocation: Blue Ash, OHDuration: 12+ Months ContractJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY : The Quality Engineer is responsible for authoring test cases/scripts and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The Quality Engineer is also expected to leverage technical expertise to develop, maintain and execute automation tests. As well, the Quality Engineer II should help identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage.Minimum Position QualificationsExperience working with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab etc.)Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environmentProficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools (Jira, Rally etc.)Strong understanding of automation concepts and approachesExperience working with or on remote teamsUnderstand and utilize risk-based testing techniqueExperience in test environment and test data managementStrong communication and collaboration skills, to challenge the norm3+ years of hands-on, automation testing of integration web services (REST and SOAP protocols) that include database validations using tools like (CA Dev Test, Rest Assured, SOAP UI Pro, Postman etc.)Demonstrated experience in XML, XSD, XPath, MQTT, Topics, HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, Bytes array message format.3+ years RestAssured framework experience for automation3+ years of experience with Build Automation tools like Maven or Gradle or similar3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and validating the DB tablesExperience in SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approachesKey ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Engineer is responsible for authoring test cases/scripts and performing test execution for both project and support related activities.
