This role supports the team by ensuring a welcoming and efficient restaurant environment, contributing to the overall operations of the hotel.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONSOperational ResponsibilitiesTake orders and serve food and beverages to guests.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.Assist with setting up and breaking down tables and service stations.Guest ServicesGreet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.Ensure guest satisfaction by accommodating special requests.Team Support and TrainingAssist in training new restaurant servers as needed.Support team performance by collaborating with colleagues.Communication and ReportingCommunicate effectively with the restaurant manager and other departments.Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately.Safety & ComplianceFollow all hotel policies and procedures.Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.Interior: Restaurant dining area and kitchenBASICSMaintain cleanliness and organization in all work areasDisplay courteous behavior with guests and team membersReport any unsafe conditions immediatelyEnsure hotel equipment is in proper working conditionPerform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisorESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilitiesPrevious experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferredPhysical RequirementsSitting: OccasionalStanding/Walking: Frequent, including walking long distancesLifting/Carrying: Up to 50 lbs, such as trays and suppliesOther Physical Requirements: Handling, grasping, and crouching as needed
