Licensed Arbitrator

To support arbitration processes, the part-time 1099 Arbitrator will review evidence from both parties, apply relevant laws and regulations, and render payment determinations using a baseball style arbitration protocol remotely. Key responsibilitiesReview submitted evidence and apply applicable laws and regulations Render payment determinations on a neutral basis Manage caseload and track deadlines independentlyRequired qualificationsLicensed attorney or licensed healthcare provider Experience as an arbitrator preferred Familiarity with the No Surprises Act (NSA) preferred Experience with medical coding or prior work for a healthcare company preferred Access to a computer and secure reliable internet
