Electronics Test Technician

* Ability to support multiple shifts as required, including:
* *1st Shift:* 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
* *2nd Shift:* 2:30 PM – Midnight
*Position Overview*
Our client is seeking a *Manufacturing Technician 2 / Test Technician Level 2* to support its aerospace manufacturing operations in Oxnard, CA.
The organization designs, produces, and supplies spacecraft components that power and enable satellites of all classes. Products include spacecraft panels, bus structures, precision optical structures, deployable structural systems and mechanisms, solar arrays, and antenna reflectors.
Job Responsibilities
* Run functional, electrical, and mechanical tests on components according to written instructions, test plans, and procedures.
* Execute component- and system-level test plans, procedures, and test events.
* Conduct tests and record data to support engineering evaluation and analysis.
* Document test results, log errors, and report non-conformances to Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and analyze equipment failures, test problems, and component defects.
* Provide assistance with manufacturing, inspection, and test engineering-related issues.
* Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews.
* Analyze measurement requirements and equipment measurement tolerances.
* Maintain and improve test equipment and infrastructure.
* Define and maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment.
* Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including component- and system-level test results and engineering design changes.
* Maintain engineering documentation and reports, including test procedures and test reports.
* Analyze test data and prepare reports in various customer-required formats.
* Support internal and external customer needs.
* Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Inspection, and other cross-functional teams.
*Basic Qualifications*
* High school diploma or GED, plus *3 years of additional education and/or related experience*.
* *3+ years of overall experience* as a technician in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret:
* Blueprints
* Electrical schematics
* Wiring diagrams
* Mechanical drawings
* Experience using tools and equipment such as:
* Multimeters
* Calipers
* Torque wrenches
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify minor flaws and accurately record test data.
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and process documentation.
* Experience working in a cleanroom environment and/or Environmental Test Area.
* Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
* Ability to manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Familiarity with working around delicate spacecraft hardware.
* Certification in an engineering-related discipline.
* Some college education preferred.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
