Clients value our expertise in areas such as base building designs, building renovations, mission-critical facilities, and analytical studies like feasibility and cost analysis.Role DescriptionThe Plumbing Engineer will provide engineering design, evaluation and planning of plumbing systems. The Engineer will have the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of market sectors, with primary focus on residential and commercial. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative and committed to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service.ResponsibilitiesDevelop systems design calculations and selection of equipment for multifamily and commercial projectsDevelop plumbing construction documents using Revit MEPBuild and coordinate plumbing BIM models as part of a multidisciplinary teamSet up and manage Revit MEP projects using company templatesCreate, modify, and maintain Revit MEP familiesManage project files including posting models, coordinating updates, managing links, and maintaining version controlBe responsible for code compliance researchParticipate in coordination meetings with internal teams and external project partnersPrepare and generate reports as requiredQualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of plumbing design experience in multifamily and commercial building projectsPE or ability to obtain a PE is considered a plusLEED certification or experience is considered a plusStrong understanding of plumbing design principles and industry standardsExperience developing and managing Revit MEP modelsProficient with Revit and AutoCADStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Revit, Autocad and MS OfficeKnowledge of codes, standards and design guidelinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive benefits package401(k) retirement planSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and advancementIf you’re a skilled plumbing engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to work on exciting residential and commercial projects, we’d love to hear from you!#Hiring #PlumbingEngineer #MEP #BIM #Revit #EngineeringJobs #DCMetro #NowHiring
