Substation Project Engineer – Transmission Construction (69–345kV, Utility)Location: Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid — Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite, Mon/Fri remote)Travel: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota & South DakotaCompensation: $70-$90/ hour DOEType: Long-Term W2 Consulting EngagementOverviewBrooksource is partnering with a leading Upper Midwest utility to hire a Project Engineer supporting a multi-year portfolio of transmission substation construction and grid modernization projects — renewable energy integration, system capacity expansion, digital substation technology, grid automation, and long-term reliability improvements across a five-state region.Voltage classes: 69kV–345kV, with regional transmission expansion efforts reaching 765kV interconnections.
