Senior Network Security Engineer – MicrosegmentationLocation: Spring, TX (Hybrid)We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in Microsegmentation, Zero Trust Architecture, and enterprise network security. This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of segmentation strategies across hybrid and cloud environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement microsegmentation solutions to secure data center, campus, and cloud environments.Develop and enforce Zero Trust security policies using application-aware and identity-driven access controls.Lead implementation of platforms such as Guardicore/Akamai Segmentation or similar solutions.Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to map application dependencies and implement policy-driven segmentation.Integrate microsegmentation with firewalls, SIEM, IAM, EDR/XDR, and cloud security platforms.Design and support secure enterprise network architectures across LAN/WAN and hybrid cloud environments.Support security monitoring, compliance initiatives, and continuous security improvements.Qualifications10+ years of enterprise network security engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience implementing microsegmentation solutions in complex enterprise environments.Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), application dependency mapping, and policy-based segmentation.Experience with Guardicore/Akamai Segmentation or similar platforms.Strong knowledge of enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper), SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, and NAC.Experience securing AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.Strong networking knowledge including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, NAT, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, and SD-WAN.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIE, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
