Dispatcher – Event Rental Company
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with drivers throughout the day to handle any route changes, delays, or issues
Check in all returned paperwork, contracts, and delivery tickets when drivers return to the warehouse
Process and communicate any shortages and damages with clients
Perform visual inspections of returning trucks and equipment to verify condition, completeness, and any damage or missing items
Document returns accurately in the rental system and flag any discrepancies/shortages for follow-up
Coordinate with the warehouse/operations team to ensure equipment is ready for next-day use
Answer incoming calls from drivers, customers, or the sales team regarding deliveries and returns
Maintain organized records of daily operations, including logs of deliveries, returns, and truck status
Assist with other warehouse or dispatch tasks as needed during slower periods
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required for effective communication with diverse drivers and customers
Previous experience in event/party rental industry – Preferred
Familiarity with rental software or inventory systems – a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends and the specified late shift (11 AM – 7 PM)
Comfortable working in a warehouse/dispatch office setting

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
