Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: $18-$21/hour (based on experience)Start: ImmediatePosition PurposeThe Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting high inventory accuracy, maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, and reducing loss and inefficiencies. This role supports daily warehouse operations while executing inventory control functions with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Reporting StructureReports directly to the Warehouse Inventory Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control & Accuracy+ Perform monthly equipment and parts inventory cycle counts, including discrepancy review and reconciliation+ Execute daily inventory and product verifications to support service teams, vendors, accounting, and operations+ Create and manage inventory transactions, including product movement and inventory adjustments+ Monitor and review inventory control processes to support company initiatives and objectives+ Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and reports+ Communicate inventory results and data effectively to management and sales teamsWarehouse Organization & Bin Management+ Responsible for accuracy, organization, and maintenance of inventory locations+ Direct storage and location of stock based on frequency of usage+ Monitor stocked inventory levels to maintain proper organization+ Accountable for bin management, including identification, accuracy, cleanliness, and organization+ Maintain inventory accuracy through proper bin assignment and location managementWarehouse Operations Support+ Support daily warehouse functions as needed+ Assist with receiving, picking, staging, and movement of materials+ Support sales with inventory obsolescence management+ Manage defective material, product returns, inventory scrapping as directed, and vendor returnsRequired Knowledge & SkillsInventory & Systems+ Ability to learn and use inventory management systems+ Ability to learn and operate RF scan guns+ Understanding of warehouse receiving and staging processes+ Ability to navigate vendor websites as neededEquipment & Operations+ Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and utility carts+ Follow all safety protocols when operating equipmentMathematical Skills+ High school-level math skills required+ Understanding of:+ Fill rates+ Days supply+ Inventory obsolescenceComputer Skills+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint+ Experience with inventory management systemsEducation & ExperienceEducation+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredExperience+ Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment+ Proven experience with inventory management, including accurate tracking and reconciliation+ Demonstrated forklift and material-handling equipment experience+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail under time-sensitive conditionsLanguage & Communication+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization+ Spanish-speaking ability is a plusReasoning & Problem-Solving+ Above-average problem-solving and logical reasoning skills+ Ability to analyze and prioritize workload+ Use initiative and sound judgment to develop solutions+ Evaluate warehouse and inventory processes and recommend improvementsPhysical Requirements+ Lift, push, pull, kneel, stoop, and reach items up to 50 lbs+ Frequently climb stairs and ladders+ Ability to work on feet for extended periodsWork Environment+ Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment+ Some outdoor work required+ Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and varying noise levels due to machinery and forklifts+ Uniforms provided+ Steel-toe shoes requiredSafety Expectations+ Follow all safety guidelines at all times+ Ensure personal actions do not place self or others at risk+ Cell phone use permitted only during scheduled breaksPay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
