DevOps Cloud Engineer

This role focuses on automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and implementing modern DevSecOps practices to support scalable, high-performance systems.The ideal candidate has strong experience with AWS, Elasticsearch, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments, along with a solid background in system administration and cloud architecture.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications using AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, and LambdaDevelop and support automated deployment pipelines for platforms and applicationsImplement DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and security scanningManage containerized applications and support cloud-native architecturesConfigure and maintain cloud databases, storage systems, virtualization environments, and network configurationsDevelop and manage APIs and web services to support application functionalityMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability and scalabilityInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management toolsMaintain and support Linux and Unix-based systemsUtilize Elasticsearch and Kibana for data analysis, monitoring, and system insightsTrack requirements and development activities using tools such as Jira and ConfluencePerform system upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance across software, hardware, and network environmentsSupport multi-tenant environments with scalable and secure infrastructure solutionsRequired QualificationsMust be fully cleared with a recent polygraphMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this postingExperience working with Elasticsearch and KibanaExperience developing and managing solutions within AWS environments (S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda)Experience implementing automated deployment processes and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with DevSecOps practices including security scanning, infrastructure as code, and automated quality checksExperience working in cloud environments with containerization and API managementExperience configuring and managing cloud infrastructure, including databases, storage, networking, and virtualizationExperience supporting Linux and Unix-based operating systemsExperience using tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentationExperience monitoring system performance and troubleshooting technical issuesExperience maintaining and managing software, hardware, and network systemsDesired QualificationsExperience supporting system accreditation within secure cloud environmentsExperience with ETL tools such as DataCTRLExperience using Apache NiFi for data ingestion and transformationExperience with data management practices and large-scale data environments#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
