Radiology Tech Location: Syracuse, NY Agency: SnapCare Pay: $3,414 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Title: ( Radiologic Tech- MRI/CT ) - Contract Location: Syracuse , NY Job Details: • Travel Pay Rate: $50hr $1414 wk Stipend (Tax Free) • Local Pay Rate (within 50 miles): $71hr • 5 shifts X 8 hours (40 hours a week) • 12-week assignment Description of job: CT/MRI Technologists at Upstate Community Hospital perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. They are responsible for preparing patients, operating imaging systems, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to patient safety, and collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff. Qualifications: • Current BLS certifications • Current NY Rad Tech license • ARRT Certification • 1 year of experience required Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT and MRI scans based on physician orders, ensuring proper patient positioning and protocol adherence. Review patient histories and explain procedures , addressing questions or concerns to ensure patient comfort and cooperation. Operate and maintain imaging equipment , reporting any malfunctions and following safety and quality control standards. Monitor patients during procedures , recognizing and responding to signs of distress or adverse reactions to contrast media. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams , ensuring timely and accurate transmission of images and documentation.
