Sewing Machine Operator - Hamlet, NCOlsten Staffing is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operators to join our production team. In this role, you'll help create high-quality medical textile products that support patient mobility and comfort. No prior experience is required-just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate multiple types of sewing and textile machinery to meet daily production goalsFollow Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and production guidelines to ensure product qualityPerform tasks such as cutting bands, bar tacking, pairing/slitting, folding/bagging, turning, elasticator operation, gusset sewing, toe sewing (Merrow, Complett, Santoni), and attaching bands or laceInspect products and make sound pass/fail quality decisionsCount materials and finished goods accuratelyPrioritize work based on due dates and shift requirementsReport quality or machine-related issues to the Manager or Maintenance teamComplete required production paperworkMaintain a clean and organized work areaParticipate in meetings and Lean/continuous improvement initiativesPerform additional tasks as assignedQualificationsStrong work ethic and effective communication skillsHigh school diploma preferred, but not requiredNo prior experience necessary-training providedDetail-oriented, quality-focused, and reliableWhy You'll Love Working HereSteady, full-time scheduleOn-the-job training providedSupportive team environmentOpportunities to learn new machinery and skillsIf you meet the qualifications for this Sewing Machine Operator position in Hamlet, NC, click "Apply Now" to join our team!Pay Details: $16.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
