Job DescriptionThe Hourly Kitchen Supervisor assists management by overseeing the daily operations of the location, maintains all standard operating procedures, and fosters a positive work environment. The Supervisor position is vital to overseeing the operations of the location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations, the facility is clean, and the customers are satisfied with their services. The person in this role creates the tone and personality of the dining location by being an advocate and promoter of training and development, excellent customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies providing support to the cooking process and guest service.Compensation DataCOMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $28.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. Job ResponsibilitiesPeople Leadership & OperationsSupervise hourly and student staff and oversee daily operationsDirect daily work assignments and support peak service periodsOpen and close the location in accordance with management standardsTrain staff on product knowledge, service standards, and safety practicesFoster a positive, harassment-free work environmentDocument and report employee and customer issuesAssist with staffing, interviewing, onboarding, and schedulingParticipate in or lead foodservice meetingsGuest Experience & Sales GrowthEngage with guests to assess service quality and resolve concernsCoach and provide performance feedback to promote growth and moraleDevelop knowledge of guest preferences and recommend limited-time offers and promotionsCost Control & ProductivityEnsure accurate ordering and inventory using par levels and guidesOversee food preparation in compliance with recipes, policies, and brand standardsPrepare work schedules and production materials as neededCommunicate operational updates and staff concerns to managementFinancial & AdministrativeUse company tools to manage food, inventory, and labor costsMaintain accurate ordering, pricing, and sales reporting systemsOversee merchandising, displays, and marketing material executionFood & Workplace SafetyMaintain proper food storage and a clean, organized workspaceEnsure sanitation and safety of all equipment and work areasMaintain food safety, temperature, and maintenance logsReport workplace injuries and assist with emergency response proceduresAdditional DutiesSupport catering events and seasonal menu executionAssist with café menu development, promotions, LTOs, and pop-up stationsManage grab-and-go and retail itemsMaintain cleanliness of front- and back-of-house areasSupport office pantry and refreshment servicesPerform other duties as assignedAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
