Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Candidate Preference: Local to New York City or nearby areasWork Authorization: W2 Candidates onlyMust-Have SkillsTableau Expertise: Proficiency in Tableau development tools and techniques for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software solutions.ResponsibilitiesTableau Development: Utilize Tableau to create interactive visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate data insights.Data Analysis: Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into clear and compelling visualizations.Data Modeling: Design and implement data models to support efficient data analysis and reporting.Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for optimal performance and user experience.Agile Development: Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprints, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in various phases of the SDLC, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software.Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.QualificationsTableau Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau development toolset.Data Visualization: Experience creating visually appealing and insightful data visualizations.Agile Experience: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in at least one common framework (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Software Development: Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills.Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
